  Very smart hotel. Very large rooms. Incredibly helpful staff. Best breakfast in the world. Awarded 4.9 out of 5. Noisy room (311) because of the passers by at the back of the hotel.

  The hotel is in very good location if you want to catch a ferry from the the Heraklion port in the morning. The breakfast was quite good with nice selection of products but more for English / American / Continental breakfast, not much choices from Greek food. The hotel interior looks nice and modern like you would expect from 5* hotel but our room was not up to the standard. We have been put at the first floor with a window opening to a narrow street and a strip club just at the other side of the road. There was a lot of noise coming from the street very late at night and very early in the morning even with the windows closed. The other criticism is the bed, there was two separate mattresses which were very thick, so there was a huge gap between them, so it's not for people who like to sleep together. This is unacceptable for me in a 5* hotel.

  Lovely hotel with some of the nicest most welcoming staff in the industry. Big spacious rooms with good A/C and lovely grand breakfast. Valet service car parking makes life easier too. Well worth the cost.

  Awesome experience at Megaron - stayed 5 nights on our Honeymoon. Our room, daily breakfast and the staff were great. Highly recommend staying here.

  Nice location and great breakfast but for dinner I would go somewhere else. Great location as you just walk downstairs to bus station which is connected to all the major towns in the island. Rooms are big and cozy. Only one missing star because of poor service at the bar
