::Large church that is still in operation. It has very high ceilings with beautiful paintings and architecter inside. There isn't much seating though. But it is worth a look.
Pierros Zevolis
::Beautiful large Greek Orthodox church at a lively location of the historical centre of the city of Athens. The square is pretty nice too, the architecture is an interesting one.
Aris Karas
::Very beautiful cathedral, built in the 19th century, including byzantine, neoclassical, gothic and romanic elements. It's the place where all the religious ceremonies of the greek state take place, and contains the tombs of St Filothei and Patriarch Gregory V of Constantinople, both killed by the Turks centuries ago. It's the place where King Juan Carlos and Queen Sophia of Spain were married in the 1960's. Definitely worth a visit.

::This must be one of the most visited Churches in Athens, after many years of renovation it is at last finished, restored to its former beauty.
Dia KL
::Probably the most tourist-visited church in Athens, after years or renovation is now complete, nice architecture and big space inside, interesting to come here during a mass or while celebrating Easter.
