::Visited it last night and it really failed to impress both my girlfriend and me. The service was very slow, we had to wait no less than an hour between the starters and the main, my lamb with beans was utterly flavourless and yet prices were considerably higher than average for Heraklion. In most places I would have given it a higher rating, but Cretan cusine turned out to be amazing and this place just does not do it justice. Dine elsewhere.

::One of the best restaurants in Heraklion, probably the very best. We have visited it in March, 2014, when they had a new chef. The presentation was creative, ingenious, and the food raised to the expectations. This was not just seeing something pretty on a plate, but also an unparalleled there were no cliches on the menu either, everything was unexpected, brilliant, fit for the name of the restaurants.

Guests here can expect the full gourmet treatment, leaving off the pretension and price usually associated with the best gastronomy. This is a classy establishment that offers creative traditional Cretan cuisine. Ask for the hotel director's favorite wine suggestions, this alone will exceed your expectations for the place. I had the Lamb “soutzoukakia”, which is a kind of Greek meatball made with lamb, wheat, and fresh mint for a main - magnificent!
