::The police station is inside this alley. Not easy to find.

::Got scammed by a taxj. Officer there felt like he didn't even bother to help me, not even issuing or recording the attempt or anything at all. Just useless.

::Very helpful. Filled out report for pickpockets on metro between Omonia and Acropolis stops. Never get on the metro when it's crowded. Walk away from the main entrances toward the ends of the subway to get on. Don't stand near the doors of the train while onboard. Put your hands over the openings to your valuables. Pickpockets work in groups and will press tightly against you so you cannot feel what they are doing with their fingers. Do not put anything valuable below your elbow under your clothes or above your knees. Always keep backpacks on your chest with your arms covering them. It's not just the Gypsies doing it either. The metro stops on either side of and including going through Omonia square are their hunting ground. Unless you catch them by the hand, they will have passed your stuff off to one of their buddies. This was my 5th trip to Athens since 2007 and my first time to be robbed and I use the metro often. Guess I'm not a virgin anymore. Kali tiki ke Kalo taxithi.
