  The majority of comments and pictures posted for this location clearly refer to the other little church at the top of the hill (St George Lycabettus) while this one ( St Issidore) lies on the North slope some 100 ft lower. The views over Athens and Piraeus in the distance are identical though and in that sense little harm is done by misplacing the pictures.

  Lovely church on the north slope of Mt. Lykavittos; it is not, as most reviews say here, the church at the peak.

  A lovely church, and the views outside on the terrace are amazing. Very nice and peaceful vibes as everyone is absorbing the scene.

  This is probably the church with the best views in Athens! Well worth the hike up there!

  Beautiful small church and a the walk up to it will give you a days work out. There are vendors selling water and soda at the top. Definitely worth the sweaty walk!
