  Very unfortunate that such nice people with a seemingly well-established small-business have the instinct and policies of con-artists selling broken products. If you think there is even a fraction of a chance that you may wish to return a product, don't even try it on in the store, for that will qualify as significant wear & tear. If you're into comprehensive customer service beyond point-of-purchase assistance, I would recommend anywhere else (including, literally, the entire internet).
